We are open every day dishing up delicious homemade cakes and scones, hearty soups and our signature sausage rolls. Our coffee is roasted locally in Aberfeldy by our friends at Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters.

The village of Carrbridge is the home of The Golden Spurtle, the World Porridge Making Championships, held in the village hall each October with contestants travelling from around the globe.

It’s also home to Carve Carrbridge the Scottish open chainsaw carving competition in September.

Over the River Dulnain you can see see the picturesque arch of the listed Packhorse Bridge. Dating back to the early 18th century, and also called the Coffin Bridge, it was built to allow funeral processions to cross the river to reach Duthil Church.

On the edge of the village is The Landmark Forest Adventure Park one of the UK’s top family attractions with its Red Squirrel Trail, Butterfly House, high ropes course and raft rides.

And all around the village are peaceful woodland walks. Pick up a map from the café – and a picnic.

The Old Bakery Arts & Crafts

Across the road our sister business showcases the work of some of the best Highland artists as well as local crafts, hand-carved wooden boards and bowls, organic handmade soap, artisan honey, coffee from Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters – and locally milled porridge oats.
